Elaboration: Escapade is a 5-piece band that includes 2 keyboard players. Here's a quote from the back of the CD "All Escapade music is composed spontaneously and collectively. In order to maintain the music's organic integrity and maximize the bliss of your audio experience, no overdubs are utilized. Wowee!" Some of this reminds me of Djam Karet but a LOT looser. The sound effects are of much more a psychedelic than DK, almost like Ozric Tentacles but without the rhythmic groove of Ozrix. Escapade's rhythm section is pretty stiff overall. On disc 1 the tune 'Undermine' clocks in at 23:29 and goes through a number of evolutions during that time, sort of a free form version of Pink Floyd's 'Echoes'; quite good actually. Most of this double CD is low key although they do get bombastic in a couple of sections such as disc one's closer 'It' and 13:00 into the 31:00 'The Sunlight. It Hurts My Eyes.' on disc 2.
