CLASSIC ESSENTIAL JAZZ FUSION FUNK BY THE MASTER OF TONE . . . STEVE KHAN!! . . . finally available on CD! Re-experience that 70s fusion thrill all over again!
TIGHTROPE! . . . . . THE BLUE MAN! . . . . . ARROWS! GRAB THESE RARE FINDS! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY EER-MUSIC.com John "Fusiondude" Patterson just grabbed Tightrope and Blue Man himself.
Please note that I am mainly looking for websites related to, promoting, GUITAR-DRIVEN fusion. I mean Allan Holdsworth, Bill Connors, Scott McGill, Scott Henderson, Frank Gambale, Brett Garsed, T. J. Helmerich, Mahavishnu John McLaughlin, etc., etc., etc. kind of hard-edged, rockin', soul-fired, visionary, virtuoso type of musicianship.
I will also consider violin, sax(reeds), synth/keys, bass, Stick, drums-driven music as well.
What I DON'T want in this ring, are sites offering lounge-jazz, straightup jazz, neo-proggy "pop" rock, shredderiffic rock, or borderline, not-quite-fusion bands. I hope I offend none on this call. I just want to avoid bland "fuzak".
I am not saying other genres are bad -- I just need to stay as specific as possible in this webring.
Still confused??
Then, seek out the killer fusion of the 1970s like Return To Forever, The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Bruford, and current talent like Tribal Tech, Hand Farm, Whoopgnash, and Allan Holdsworth. If your website or band leans this way in its content -- DO SIGN UP!!
